The day ended with the sun coming out, and I stopped working on the curtains for now. Usable, but not finished. Also installed a much needed dimmer for the floor lights and fixed some rattling and insulation for when it gets colder. Feels a bit more homey now with the dimmer and curtain. And to have cup of tea in this stunning sunset was just what I needed 🫖🔥

Snow whispered across the green yesterday, fleeting as a ghost of winter refusing to let go. Then came the rain - wild, relentless - drumming its grief into the earth. And just when it seemed the light had vanished, the clouds tore open today, and the sun bled gold across the lakes and forests. Constantly shifting conditions.

Summer is supposed to be here, but not yet - only a promise etched in the sky, behind every storm, beneath every thawing root.

And in the silence after the rain… you can almost hear it coming 🌻

There are moments in life where the road ahead dis

There are moments in life where the road ahead disappears into the dark. No signs. No voices. Just silence and the weight of your own breath. It happens for all of us, we all go through dark times. Where silence grows louder than your thoughts.

And in those moments… you either stop. Or you become the light.

I don’t wait for clarity anymore. I drive through the fog, through the fear, through the heaviness.

Because sometimes — to find your path — you have to lose sight of everything else.

That’s when you build your own fire.
You aim forward. Even if you’re not sure where it leads. You carve clarity out of chaos. And you become your own compass.

The forest doesn’t guide you - it tests you.
The mist doesn’t blind you - it reveals what matters. And when no one else walks beside you, you whisper to the night:
I am the shadows.

Not lost.
Just moving through the dark.

Blown away by the evolution of bikes since I bought my first steel MTB as a kid with money I had earned delivering newspapers. Today it’s carbon, extreme precision gears, app controlled, electric boost if you need it and it all just makes me excited. It’s more enjoyable, fun! AD | The @flyerbikes Uproc X is insane. So powerful and comfortable. Reliable and the balance is incredible- even though it’s been years since I’ve been biking properly. Gonna be a lot of trips together 🔥

🌲🌧️ The rain poured on the windshield as the forest pulled me in. Mist rose like breath from the earth, and the scent of wet pine and black coffee wrapped around my thoughts. No roads, no noise - just silence dressed in rain and shadows. Sometimes, the deepest clarity comes when everything is blurred. I went looking for nothing… and found a piece of myself.

It looks peaceful here, but don’t be fooled. The wind howled like it had a message for us. The kind of silence only found when the world gets loud enough to drown itself out. And in that chaos, we found stillness.

We left warmth behind - 20 degrees and the hum of summer - and chased something colder, wilder. No plan, just instinct. Hours later, we found ourselves in the mountains, swallowed by mist and storm, the temperature crashing to 3°C and quite a windchill factor.

Sometimes, peace isn’t soft. It’s raw, it bites. But it wakes something honest inside 🕊️

It’s been 6-7 years since I’ve been here, and to relive it again with my best buddy, was special. To think about all the things I’ve experienced since, how I’ve grown, evolved as a photographer, learned from mistakes, and hopefully improved as a human being. Finally, the sky let go. Not with thunder, not with storm - just a hush of rain, soft enough to wake the moss, kind enough to breathe in.

We wandered out, through the mist-veiled forest where the silence feels older, truer, and every drop on our skin was a reminder: you don’t always need sunlight to feel alive.

Anthon beside me, his fur damp, his spirit undimmed. We said nothing, yet shared everything. No path to follow, only presence. Only now.
