Representing Norway in Fjällräven Polar 2017

I really cant believe it’s true. This is my third year trying and the last couple of days have been crazy, no sleep, just votes-votes-votes… I’m tired, I’m stressed, I’m in a different world, but people are posting on my wall congratulations and the likes and comments are exploding. The final result is 29.006 personal votes. I really cant describe the feeling… SO many people have voted for me, helped me, supported me. It’s crazy… Unreal…

I’m the winner of Norway! I’m going on Fjällräven Polar! If you dont know what the f*ck I’m talking about and why this is a big deal, let me try to explain.

Fjällräven Polar is a 330km extreme expedition over the arctic tundra. 12 winners from all over the world is given the opportunity of a lifetime to get on this trip. But you have to win your country. Fjällräven will also choose another person from each country, that’s the jury award. So basically we are 24, 2 from each country.

We meet in Stockholm and travel together to Northern Norway where the expedition will begin. 330km on a dogsled, cold weather and a lot of freezing. Sounds good? I think so…!

So back to the celebration, I won that ticket! And it wasn’t easy – 29.006 votes. I’m so grateful for all who have helped out, shared the endless spamming, accepted it. I really appreciate it and hope that you will follow my adventure in April. That’s the least I can do – share the experience with you all.

Now starts the training – I have to get in shape for this. The better my body will work, the more I can enjoy the trip. So let’s get started!!
